10. Noble M600
This British super car from Noble Automotive is the forerunner of the models Noble M400 and Noble M15 which uses Volvo V8, a twin turbo charged. This hand built car which costs around $450,000 or about £300,000 is made up of carbon fiber and stern stainless steel. Noble M600 speeds at a top speed of 225 mph.
9. Zenvo ST1
Zenvo ST1 is one of the world’s high performance sports cars. It is a super car from Zenvo that runs at a maximum of 233mph speed which is 375 km/h. This Danish turbocharged and supercharged top car is perfectly equipped with a satellite navigation and keyless entry. It is nicely built with a telescopic driving wheel, steering wheel adjustment. Its racing seats are well made up of leather that can be adjusted electrically.
This high end model car was produced in 2009 somewhere in Zealand, Denmark. Zenvo ST1 is designed by car designers Jesper Hermann and Christian Brandt. This fast racing car is surely an eye candy for car aficionados out there.
8. Pagani Huayra BC
This Italian car gears up at a top speed of 238 mph, which costs around $1,314,000 or about £910,905, €1,198,000. This Pagani model car was designed by Horacio Pagani who created this sports car to have a mid-engine setting. This car was highly acclaimed by no other than the Top Gear magazine for being the “The Hypercar of the Year 2012”. It is defined as one of the fastest cars in the market today.
Pagani Huayra derived its name from the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-Tata which basically fits its speed as breeze as the wind. It was considered to be the fastest road car in the history when it went a high speed of 1:13.8 around the test track of Top Gear, but got beaten in June 2016 by a point 1 difference, 1:13.7 by a McLaren’s high modeled car.
The report says that this fast car was limited to 100 units only as this was the agreement Pagani made to the Mercedes-AMG, the engine supplier, and all units has been sold out last February 11 of 2015.
7. McLaren F1
McLaren F1 is another highly acclaimed fast sports car from McLaren Cars that was originally conceived by the Formula One car designer, Gordon Murray. It was said that the latter convinced Ron Dennis, CEO of McLaren Technology Group to support the project, and involved Peter Stevens, a well known vehicle designer in the UK to help him in designing the car’s interior and exterior.

6. Koenigsegg CCR
This Koenigsegg sports car is designed with a mid-engine feature. The maximum speed of this lustrous fast car is known to be at 242 mph. It debuted at Geneva Auto Show last March of 2004 which has exquisitely designed doors like its forerunner, the Koenigsegg CC8S. This Swedish super car has an upgraded body that includes a much larger front splitter. This is to provide an optimized down force.
Also, it is equipped with new larger tires and brakes, and an improved headlight arrangement. It features a modified rear end, and superchargers.
5. Saleen S7 Twin Turbo
This American hand-built fast racing car was assembled in Irvine, California by collaborations of car designers and experts Steve Saleen and Phil Frank to name two. It was reported that this high-performance car was first made in the UK by Ray Mallock Ltd.
Saleen S7 was considered to be America’s premiere released of a mid-engine designed high racing car. It was launched at the Monterey Historic Races on the 19th of August in 2000. This fast car’s engine is made up of all-aluminum material. It is known to have a top speed of 248 mph, which is 399 km/h as it boosted its power with the twin turbo engine featured added to it in 2005.
4. SSC Ultimate Aero
This mid-engine designed fast racing car runs at a maximum speed of 256 mph. SSC Ultimate Aero is a production of SSC North America, which was previously known as the Shelby SuperCars. In 2007 as reports say, the Guinness World Records named this car as the fastest in the world which was later beaten by the Bugatti modeled car around 2010.
It was said that a prototype of this supercharged sports car was sold in 2008 auction, the Barett-Jackson Palm auction. It was won by the bidding price of $189,200.
3. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
The fastest on the street as recognized by Guinness World Records is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport model from Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. This mid-engine high racing car’s top speed is at 268 mph which was designed and developed by the Volkswagen Group in Germany. The production runs through 2010 and 2011. It was manufactured and assembled in Molsheim, France.
The chief designer of the Veyron was Hartmut Warkuss, and the exterior designer was Jozef Kabaň. They were helped by the engineering chief Wolfgang Schreiber to ensure that this super car is engineered extremely well.
2. Bugatti Chiron
This turbo charged sports car features a unique mid-engine designed. It is actually the successor of the Bugatti Veyron. This two-seated sports car is manufactured by the Bugatti Automotive Group, which belongs to the Volkswagen Group. It debuted at the Geneva Motor Show on the first of March, 2016. This car was named in honor of Louis Chiron, the Monegasque driver.
