Harley Davidson Blackline Review

Published

on

It only takes one glance a the 21-inch front wheel of this bike to tell you the Harley Davidson Blackline is made for appearance, not performance. The rear wheel is not much bigger at only 5.66 inches wide. However, the Blackline is an excellent bike that features a high quality finish and carefully designed details.

The triple clamps, swingarm, and frame are flawless. The rear fender sits tight and low on the back wheel, with the front wheel only slightly placed underneath the shapely fender. This bike has a 33.5 degree fork angle, with the front intentionally pushed out to make the bike look as long as possible. Unlike some Harleys, the Blackline race bikes for sale have a remarkably low seat height of 26.1 inches. This makes it fairly easy for riders of all heights to get on this bike.

The ignition uses a tubular retractable key that will unlock the starting switch. Once the lights turn on, you just need to press the starter button to turn on the engine. This is much simpler than starting a Ducati bike, since you only need a metallic smack to put the engine into motion.

The Blackline has a 1,585cc engine that feels very sophisticated and smooth while on the road, especially during low revs and relaxed cruising. It is by no means a custom hayabusa for sale, but if you hit the throttle to the maximum, the engine will assume a far more determined and hardened character, delivering impressive thrust that is typical for Harley motorcycles.

This bike is not about high speed cornering and awesome power. It is capable of hitting the freeway at over 80mph when you need it to, but it is better suite for relaxed riding by coastal roads and spacious highways. The Blackline does not offer any challenge to experienced drivers, but it can be fun to drive if you are a novice or at intermediate level.
