Car Clean

If you think you can take some dish washing liquid and remove the dirt and grime from your car then you are mistaken. It will also remove the protective wax coating that protects your car’s paint and gradually in due time the paint will turn dull and lose all its shine.

Before you start to clean your car, you should have the following tools, a big Microfiber towel, a 5 gallon bucket of water, a couple of wash mitts, a wheel cleaner and a wheel brush, a 5 meter hose, plus the nozzle attachment and finally a spray wax. Now you may follow the following tips:

  • Make sure before you start washing, that the surface of the car is cool.
  • Take two buckets of water, one with clean and the other with soapy water, splash dirt from the wheels and then rinse it off when you wash the body of the car. Remember the wheels have to be cool. Be careful while cleaning used tyres.
  • Use a spray cleaner liberally on the wheels and tyres to soak and loosen up the dirt, then with a scrubber, scrub the dirt and rinse the wheel to let it dry. Use a branded car shampoo in correct proportion with water. At first rinse the vehicle before soaping the car, to take off loose dirt or dust on the surface. Start from the roof and then make your way down. Rinse off soon after cleaning the car so that the car shampoo does not dry on the paint.
  • Worn tyres should not be left with any dirt on them. After you have finished on the entire vehicle, dry as soon as possible, so water spots will not form on the paint. Take a Microfiber towel and wipe the car dry. Do not forget to dry the door jambs.

Finally use a separate towel to dry the wheels and then squirt some spray wax on the paint and then wipe off with a Microfiber towel to give it a nice shine.
